Watersprite Screening: UPROOTED

  • Fitzpatrick Hall, Queens' College Silver Street Cambridge, England, CB3 9ET United Kingdom (map)

What do you do if home no longer feels like a safe or familiar place? Spanning across the world, from Germany to Myanmar, these films explore the nuanced experiences of ‘uprooted’ people, plunged into new (and often dangerous) spaces and situations. We discover, at once, the source of their struggle – and, more often than not, a resolute sense of hope which allows them to keep moving forwards, against all the odds.
